CHESTERTOWN — Join the Kent County Public Schools Family Support Resource Center for a free workshop on transition planning for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
"Preparing for Life After High School" will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26 in the media center at Kent County Middle School in Chestertown.
The Parents' Place of Maryland and the Division of Rehabilitative Services will be on hand to guide families of transition-age youth on the next steps during the planning process.
Families will be able to explore post-secondary goals and outcomes.
Free dinner and childcare will be available.
Kent County Middle School is located at 402 E. Campus Ave., Chestertown.
