So good afternoon KCPS teachers. I just want to say, "Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!"

 

I want you to know how much you change the world.

 

You change the world every day when you greet a student with a smile and ask how they're doing. You change the world every day when you help a young person think more deeply, more creatively, more compassionately. You change the world when you coach a teenager on the athletic field and in those AP classrooms and in those science labs.

 

You change the world through your relentless belief in tomorrow.

 

There are no words to express how much I know you make a difference and how much I appreciate your hard work, day in and day out.
