Field Trips

Another goal of the Kent County Public Schools Education Foundation is to provide extra funding support for field trips to destinations outside of Kent County that highlight the significant historical and cultural resources beyond our community.

Your contribution could help a Kent County student take their first trip to a place like the Smithsonian, where they could see real dinosaur bones and NASA spacecraft, learn even more about historical figures like Frederick Douglass and grow their appreciation for art.

A Special Capital Campaign

KCHS Planetarium

One of the unique features of Kent County High School in Worton is that it has a fully operational planetarium.

This incredible asset needs additional support from the community. While still functional, the equipment is very old, with manual dials and switches for controls and cassette tapes and slides for media.

The planetarium has so much potential, not just for our students, but also the broader community.
